My Life My Way

The wide and clean roads, the ever pleasant weather, its not just this that makes the city beautiful. The cordial smiles that greet you every time you pass byand hospitable nature of the people just adds to the glory of the city. If it wasn't for them, its hard to find the Punjabis,Gujjus, Marathis, Tamilians, Telugites, Malayalees, who not, people from every corner of the country living so affably. The city is juxtaposed with bustling industries on one end while swarming with plush malls, posh MNCs and termed as the IT hub of the state. The city does well to protect its age old heritage while not missing out to catch up with latest buzz.
Despite all these, the city has a sense of calmness to it that casts a soothing effect on, making even a stranger feel at home. Long before you know, slowly yet steadily you would end up owning the it and the city forming inseparable part of your life. For everything the city is and for everything it is not, its hard not to fall in love with Bangalore.

For a guy who has come to city in the prospect of a career, the city has offered him many a moments to relish. It tested him, troubled him at times but never to a point where it is out of control. Having started of from a point of, 'Nothing to lose, I have ended up gaining quite a few. Friends, memories and experiences. Truly priceless.'

Here I'm, acknowledging the people who have made my stay in the city a memorable one that it is now.
Starting off with Rohit Chandra, for the friend he always has been. Being there for me in the deepest of troubles and greatest of happiness. The deepest of troubles me being, my endless search of a room which was nothing short of a wild goose chase ;). For introducing me to some great friends of his, who have turned out to be equally good friends of mine :D. A special mention of thanks to his Karizma, for the wonderful rides I shared with it. Was a pleasure riding it.

To Himamshu, for the endless conversations we had about Cricket and at times of the majestic city Mumbai. They were happy times. I can never forget the day we hung out at the roadside. Sorry to have forgotten the name dude. But the food there was awesome and we hogged like crazy. Should do it sometime I come to Bangalore again.

Siddarth,a designer by profession and photographer by passion, thank you for listening to my craziest of ideas and dumbest of doubts. Our love for cinema would make up for a different post altogether. I shall remember this guy for his amazing idea of 'Cracking CAT' if not for anything else. LOL

Naveen Kumar Singh. Not a fearsome as the name sounds.Chocolate boy of the group. King of PJs. Thanks for being the entertainer you are :).

Phanindra Sastry, the gadget guru, tech freak, thank you for cooking me the awesome rasam on my last birthday. And thanks to you for now I have been a biggest fan of Agam & Yodhakaa now :D.

Kasyap for being my first roommate. Dude, you are an awesome listener. Thanks for bearing with all my cribs and rants of my lost love, my new found crush. Thank you for everything. And for that matter, shall never forget my first ever lunch in Bangalore, on roads. A cup of maggi on a mid summer afternoon squatting on the stairs. Nothing short of awesome :P

Ramprasad for the mentor and guide you have been to me . Quoting you 'There are no mistakes. Only lessons'. Shall never forget this in a long time to come. :) Had a great time working with you. Vinay, hope you didn't mind my leg pullings and incessant buggings. It was fun to be having a friend like you at work place. Wishing you luck for your future and I'm pretty sure you would be meeting your dream date pretty soon ;). Harish, Mallikarjun, Kantharaj, thank you for the great time we had together. Harish you really have given me some great ideas, that I'm trying to work on.Chetan, someone who carried a true genial smiles in toughest of times. Looking forward for a day when you would narrate a story. Wish you luck on that.

Jagannath, thank you sir for being there and encouraging me at every possible step in my work. Baskar Sir, thanks for kind support and encouragement . Will always cherish the conversations we had. Pandian and Pavan for being my first point of brush in to the real corporate world. Pandian Sir you been a great entertainer on and off work. One of the best managers ever. Pavan Sir, it has been a great learning experience to be working under you so early in my life. Think out of box sessions with you were really a greatly help and will take forward a lot from it. A special thanks to Anand Sir for the favor and conversations that kept spreading smiles around in the workplace.

Arvind Kasturi,my team lead, someone who greatly inspired me and proved to me than you can always drive change if you are willing to go that extra mile for the team. It had been fun working under or rather should I say with you, I really believe I have found a mentor and even greater friend in you. A special mention of thanks for all lifts and the final farewell.
Umakanth, who turned out to be a good friend in such a good time and even more good human being. A piece of advice boss, Keep spending money for yourself at times.Rajesh, Dinesh, Siddarth thanks for being a great team.

Saving the best for the last, Mythreyi Akka & Sharat Bawa two people, I'm greatly indebted to. Never would I ever done to forget what they people have to me. No words would suffice and no amount of thanks would do. Those last 8 months in Bangalore surely goes down as the best and all thanks to you.Gonna miss your Magai Pappu. And I'm gonna miss the constant jibes from Sharat bawa. That was one helluva time I had. Special thanks to Mr.& Mrs. Dayanand for keeping up with me all the way. Not to forget the two lovely, adorable kids, Tanmayi & Nishant, who played with me, let me revisit my childhood and relive it. Also for the making me the wonderful baby sitter I'm :P.

A super special mention of thanks to an amazing friend Bangalore has given. Swathi. Thank you for putting up with my never ending, incessant leg pullings. Thanks for all the amazing conversations. Sheer fun :)

Thats all about it. The best 500 Days of my life, if I may say. And I'm sure, my tryst with Bangalore is not all over yet. Its just a mere pause in a long play ;) :)

Days seem to have passed pretty quickly.I still cant believe it that its been three months since I'm done with my engineering and two months since I've joined Mahindra Satyam. Its not just what I do that changed, but its what I'm and how I think changed too. I owe it partly to my experiences and mostly because of few people I met in the last couple of months.

I just want to share something. I should have done this pretty early,I know but given the situation I couldn't.Don't blame me for that. You know what I'm in LOVE. Now don't get shocked or puzzled. You heard me right or rather I would say you read it right.Don't hurt yourself by pinching to check if it is for real.Man I just cant help it but fall for her. It was not the first time I've seen her. I've know her over a few years now.But never we had a chance to be so close. It is a pretty interesting encounter. Ever since I saw her recently, I had this strange feeling that I liked her. I just don't want to jump to a conclusion so fast. I held myself back to make sure, I'm certain about whats going on. I can be wrong once, maybe even twice, but camon, I just can't be wrong always.

She is pleasant. Of the time I've been with her I've hardly seen her otherwise.Okay folks I don't wanna make you wait anymore. I'm just about to let out her name. Its Banglore.Folks don't curse me, I just can't help it but fall in love with her. No matter what kind of the mood you are in, just a walk in the cool breeze around and you would forget all your worries.Serenity is restored. You'll be sane and that smile on your face is back from no where :)!! Thats the kind of magic it does, the city.

Moving onto the people I've met during this time,a short association with someone who has given enough memories to cherish for a long long time to go.Those conversations might have been just a few,but a lot to feel happy about.Could possibly be few of the best conversations I had in long time. She is the sweetest of all the persons I've ever known. They dont make people who are that sweet and equally intelligent anymore ;). I say that because not many could make me go in search for words to defend an argument :P. Just as good things doesn't long either. But nevertheless a good time and can never forget it those few conversations :)!!And ya if your reading this don't let the smile go off your face ever :)!!

Lets talk about the most awaited thing now. What do you expect in my blog, its just going to be me, me and little more about me that its nothing more. Well,my job experience. How little I talk about the better it is.It seems that I've been trained in ABAP a module in SAP. I did say seems there, its because I hardly have a feeling that I've been trained. Anyways I'm done with it and I'm waiting to get mapped into project. I've been waiting for the two weeks now and might have to wait for another two weeks. This wait doesn't seem to get over and thats not a good sign :(!!

Just to pass my time I've been reading quite lot. One book that grabbed my attention was "Anything for you ma'am"Tushar raheja takes you through a jolly dolly write. He is witty and the book is quite engaging. I don't say you would end up laughing in splits but the smile doesn't seem to go away. Do grab and read it if you get a chance. I've been reading more books on love, relationships and stuff. Read few books of Durjoy Datta. Well the story seems to be familiar, as every guy will connect himself with the lead character at some point or other. And ya his books helped me to come over few shallow thoughts of mine :)!!

Watched Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara. I had to wait for sometime before I could actually get to watch it. It was so hyped. Still the movie dint fail to impress me. Loved Imran's character in the movie. He is my pick of the lot. Another movie that got me is Abhishek Bachans the game. The movie is slick and one can find the tempatation to get in the lines of a Hollywood flick.Whatever they tried, I felt it paid off. Abhishek delivers one of his finest performances. The end might have gotten filmy still I feel it makes an interesting watch.

I sign off. Its pretty late and I've stayed in office just to write this piece of crap. Now you've wasted your time enough. Go and do something constructive atleast now :P. And ya thank you for going through the pain to read this ;)

Byeeeee!!!!

There was this buzz going on over the last few weeks in facebook, college coming to an end. Many started counting weeks and days ever since this semester started. It eventually did.We have been bid farewell by our juniors and officially we are done with the engineering life. All that awaits us is just a few more exams and viva! And that would be it.For many of us it would be end of the most memorable student life.On this night, I would like to use this to look back and see how much everything has changed over THE last four years of my life.

To put it in brief,it was four years of everything-ness for me.Name an emotion and I was bound to have experienced it one time or the other.I had periods of unimaginable calm punctuated periodically by amazing fun and masti.I never foresaw whats in store for me.

I've had been through lot of tough times.Have seen lots of ups and many more downs. At this point all I understand is nothing stays by. I've grown up quite a lot as a person.I've learnt to let go, give up and giving up at times does not exactly mean you've lost.It means you value few relations or things much more than winning at that moment. Today what I'm is all because of everyone I've met.Well few of the interactions might have been just have lasted for minutes and days.I might not have met few people at all, but everyone I came across during the course of my journey in the last four years has got something or other to do with what I'm today. I thank my friends for being there when I've needed them most.

There are two special people whom I would never forget. One who have added another dimension to my very unidimensional life back then while other have been the reason for me to stand up and fight back and been the there for me during the most tough times. Well can't thank you enough. You'll remain special to me forever.

To put it in short..I mite have to take a leaf out of my friends status but theres no way to put it any better..Its been 4 full years of everything.assignments..bunks..getting ragged.. freshers day celebrations.. ragging juniors....labs.. records..vivas...exams..one day battings.cell phone chattings...making up for attendances..fights..silly ego problems..frenships....first day first shows..sweet crushes..serious loves..breaks ups...backlogs..bike rides.. countless panipuri treats..leg pullings..and teasings.and for me its been innumerable hours of travelling as well..and now all this has come to an end..its time for a farewell and we bid audious to our college..a place thats been our second home for four long years.

We've started as mere strangers, just as n when we get to know each so well we are about to part our ways.
Mali jeevitapu ee malupulo kalustamo telidu :|
Kalavalani ashisthu!
Kalustamani aakanshithu!!

I take a leave.Wishing all my friends all the best with their future endeavors. Hoping to see them around.Miss you all :)

I was waiting for about 15 odd minutes under the shade of a tree near BigBazar,Ameerpet on a excruciatingly hot day of mid summer. My friend Rohit and Pranav are supposed to pick me up.It took them a little longer than I expected to come there.Ohh yah ,the thing is Rohit,Rishi and I planned to have combined studies at Pranav's place. What I expected a two day stay turned out much longer than I thought and lasted for two weeks of fun, masti, entertainment and ofcourse a bit of study too :P.

It was my first visit to Pranav's place, and I've no idea whatsoever how his house is like.My friends decided to play a prank on me, by dropping me at one of my classmates house and then make up some excuse to lemme go first, have me knock the door and watch the expression of "shock" when someone unexpected opens the door.Lucky for me, that the idea just remained an idea and I was taken straight away to 401,Saraswathi Nilayam

I didn't know then that it was just a beginning and they've many more pranks in store to be played on me.We were all set to and very much determined to have something called reasonably good in our memos. And for the to happen we had to where to start from. Most our first two days of passed away just like that as we were deeply involved in figuring out what to study and what not.I tell you it wasn't an easy task.It was just during the same course of time that Rishi made up his mind on life changing decisions like no TV, no Facebook and no afternoon naps..And, no I'm not going to talk about how long was he able to stick to that ;).

It was so much fun to be with everyone of them. Rohit took up many extra classes for us in RAC.He was in great demand then that he explained the first two units to more than ten people on more than 5 different occassions.Believe me he was too good at that.It was during these days that Rohit was able to fulfill most of his to do things before his final year of engineering.I'm happy for you man :).

We did spend the first day afternoon playing carroms. People got shocked to see me play. There were more than few incidents when my friends had an expression of shock, surprise, because I played almost impossible and most improbable shots. They concluded I'm very much a team player ofcourse to the opponent team :P :D.

On one of the nights, I experienced tickle torture.I can't resist ticlking and Phani,Rishi,Rohit tried to test me on that. Pranav remained as the silent spectator, getting amused with the show!! It was around 1'O clock in the night that it all happened. Here I'm posting you a video of it. Its gonna speak more than I can describe.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SwfOzD15Nhs.

We have been out at on one of the nights to have dosas and another night to have ice creams(Night in the sense all the time its over 11.30 :P). One of the nights we were set for a ride out in the city, roamed around tank bund, then been to a cafe at Mehdipatnam to have tea at 12 in the night. After that we have been on to the newly constructed fly over.A 11.2 km ride.Wow man, that ride remains to be special in my life ever!!

Nights when we talked all through, early morning sleeps, leg pullings, walk on the terraces, the lunches we had together, the moments we tried to click pictures, pranks we played on one another, the countless mangoes we had,the discussions we had over the tables, evening walks on the terrace, the hours spent on fone, the time we spent with Madhav..What not everybit of my stay at Pranav's place was memorable.

Thank you for making it all possible. He is the best host I've ever known.I'm sure he had some good time too, though we tried to irritate him with our silly talks, never lost his cool. Not to forget their cook. She cooked us some delicious and yummy food. Its no wonder my cousins asked me that I become a shade fairer and put on few kilos in just two weeks ;).The last day was far more memorable, a trip to Runway9, pool games, and then having pizzas in the evening, dinner at Chutneys....finally an hour of chitchatting near the KBR park, that prety much sums it all, our stay at 401,Saraswathi Nilayam.

PS:1 This is my first post thats going to very lengthy. So set yourself accordingly.
2 I'm going to speak my heart out in the next few minutes.Don't blame if you find this boring.

Hey folks, spare if my titles are sounding so filmy;).I can't really believe it that we are done with 2009 and theres not going to anymore of it.Days rolled in pretty fast. I still have many memories of it lingering in my mind. Many incidents stay so afresh in my grey cells. What an year it has turned out to be.Lot of things happened in and around the world.

What happened around the world isn't much of my concern because I'm so self-conceited:D.So I would hardly mention any of them now.I don't like to bore you by describing the sorts of events I've attended or the kind of things I did. I don't know whether to call it one of the best years I've ever had. No, I don't think so.Surely not when I think of my results. I screwed with them, they were the horrible results I've had in all this years of my study. So would that allow me to call it one of the gloomy years of my life.It can't be, because I had lot of fun-filled moments and awesome experiences during the industrial tour to Vizag . I would like to write a piece on it shortly.I'm committing myself to it, so that I gotta do it. I'm quite contrast to Pokiri, I hardly commit myself. Even if I eva did I dont usually stick to it ;). Looks like I'm getting off the track.

Coming back to the point. The last 365 days of my life are in a way very special to me. I don't say that I had blissful moments all through the year. I had equally bad ones. There were times which when I think about, makes me feel I shouldn't have done it that way.It had given me moments that I would love to cherish. The first thing I remember of the year reunion of my school friends. I was longing to get there and I had a very little time at my disposal. I scurried hither and thither to my place and had most of it. I meet almost everyone of my childhood chums. Its always a great feeling to get back in touch with your old pals and I feel one shouldn't miss it for anything. Its been one few good times I had in the last year.I should tell you this has in a way influenced me a lot. All of sudden, my routine has changed. My mobile was used to get flooded with forwards from my schoolmates. It marked the start of my using mobile extensively.

It was the year which helped to get on top of my laziness and get the internet connection. I wanted it badly for over two years and never really worked to get one. But then things have forced me so much that I had to get it. Even this one turned out to be the next big thing that had happened. Don't you think its just because of the victory of my I sit here blogging :P.

Well days rolled pretty fast. My semester got ended. I was very much confident of doing well or rather the other way round. I didn't know it until the results were out. They turned to very contrasting to what I expected them to be. It had been a kind of routine that I expect something and the results not letting me down would turn up to be a disaster.I don't know where and how things went horrible wrong. I was so let down, so so depressed. It was the darkest phases of the whole of last year. I didn't know how to handle it. Thanks to all my friends who were by the side of me and let a shoulder to cry upon. Had it not been for all of them I don't know where I would've ended up now.It made me realize what really true friends mean and what friendship is all about. I was hit with vengeance. I was so determined to study well and be very studios. As a matter of fact I was really so for about a week.Few more days into the semester and all my fervor to read and do well in the exams gradually eased out and it started seeming so normal again.

Meanwhile many things happened simultaneously. Life is just an assembly of lot of things happening around you.Ain't it I'm a mechie and I don't think it can be put any better technical speaking :D.I have had many new friends and interestingly most of them turned out to be my best pals now. I owe it most of it to the net. It may sound strange that I'm connecting frivolous things together. That, me, considering net as something remarkable which may seem so inconsequential to you. But then thats life. We may or sometimes may not notice the significance of small acts we make. Its surely gonna leave a mark on us. Its not just that I've had so many friends during this time. I had some misunderstandings creeping in between my existing friends. Of which I don't know whether I had to carry the blame of guilt or not but then I'm happy that I could finally patch up and get things straight by the end of the year :).

The last semester had gotta do with something outstanding in me. I nevva had my attendance more than 78 in all these months of my engineering. But in the last semester dono what and how it could happen but then I kept up my attendance way above 90 percent. Its nothing but a miracle to myself.Good God, I remember my friends getting green when I spoke of my attendance :P.I was bothered with something which could neva have got into this blog had it not been for my outstanding ability to enhance the complexity of things around me by thinking too much. I wasn't able to talk to person I wanted to . Considering myself to be very talkative. I couldn't stand my failure in this aspect. I did spend lot of hours in giving a lot of thought to it. Trying to figure out reasons to satisfy myself with some irrelevant explanations. I don't understand what let such trivial things bother me so much. As it said things don't end unless it has a happy ending, this had a happy ending and thank God that I'm finally able to do talk with the person :).
Its not just that. Its an year which gave a new dimension to myself. It let something happen which I had in mind for about an year or so.I've been a blogger finally and I could write something. Its helping me a lot to pour out myself. So all in all the last one was so special to me. I loved it for every experience, every memory it left me. I cherish them.
I'm looking forward to have the same kind of experiences in the next 365 days to go or to be more precise 363 days and 10 hours.Keeping my eyes open for every kind of suprise it has in store for me.Be it a happy or a sad or a adventurous or boring or whatever kind of moment be it I would love to live life to the fullest.

And you know what I've bid good bye to the last year n welcomed this new year in a different manner. I was travelling and was in train. This is my first time to do it that way.So that keeps me more interested for whats going happen to ahead:).

Get yourself tuned to face every bit of this year. Wishing you all the a very happy, cheerful and prosperous new year.May this year help you in fulfilling your dreams.Hope you all succeed in keeping up the resolutions taken. Remember success comes only the hard way. Keep going
